Ad Trafficking Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and energetic Ad Trafficking & Production Specialist to join our Project Management team. This role is responsible for logging and preflighting advertising materials—including large-format output, video, and static images—to ensure compliance with vendor specifications and deadlines. The position also involves uploading final files to vendors and reviewing vendor proofs prior to final production or implementation. Additionally, the role includes creating spec sheets and ad diagrams, as well as performing photo retouching for a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for a variety of marketing materials, including but not limited to:

  • Apply technical print and digital production knowledge to ensure files meet print-ready standards, including bleeds, trim, safe areas, DPI/PPI, color profiles (CMYK, RGB, spot colors), PDF/X standards, and common vendor specifications

  • Preflight and quality-check files, identify issues, and clearly communicate required corrections to internal teams and external partners

  • Manage ad operations and asset trafficking by receiving, organizing, and reviewing advertiser materials prior to design, print, or digital deployment

  • Coordinate closely with project management and design teams throughout planning and execution phases

  • Maintain strict adherence to production timelines and deadlines across multiple ad placements

  • Deliver high-quality output with speed, accuracy, and consistency

  • Adapt to shifting priorities and handle last-minute assignments in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality assurance across all projects

  • Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud tools effectively, including:

  • InDesign: Edit templates, build spec sheets, and adjust layouts

  • Illustrator: Create and modify ad diagrams and simple vector artwork

  • Photoshop: Resize, crop, color-correct, and retouch images as needed

  • Acrobat: Create, edit, review, and manage PDF documents


Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or completion of a relevant trade school program preferred, but not required

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in project management, advertising, media execution, or a related field

  • Strong understanding of print production and digital advertising specifications and formats

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with experience in template-based production and detail-oriented, repetitive tasks

  • Expert knowledge of printer specifications, including preflighting files, managing bleeds, PDFs, and color modes

  • Experience routing and trafficking ads, handling high volumes of creative assets, and working with diverse vendor specifications

  • Familiarity with ad servers, digital signage systems, in-app advertising formats, and web banner standards

  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently from initiation through completion

  • Experience collaborating with external vendors and internal cross-functional teams

  • Proven ability to remain calm, focused, and effective in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments

  • Knowledge of ad trafficking and performance tracking tools

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and qualityAbility to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace is required
